OC BACKSTORY EXAMPLE

Nafisa was born cradled in the warmth of blood coated sand, each grain clung onto her vulnerable flesh; silt on honey. The winds swooned with the chill of the desert night, a whistling breath that graced the heated lands. The first sound to touch the ears of the newborn was not the hissing breeze, but instead, the labored breathing of her mother. A squealing sound emanated from her lungs, followed by the sound of crackling from her every exhale; she was dying. Daughter alike mother, her newborn lay beneath her thighs, drowning in the amniotic fluid of her birth.Amopnu, one of many embalmers in servitude of the renowned Witch Doctor known as Zum’rah, had been awaiting the months to arrive in which he would be blessed with his first son; or so he anticipated and prayed for. He was youthful, dedicated to his first mate and invested in his first child. He had not considered the possible tragedy of becoming a widower and first-time father in the same night.It was to Amopnu’s horror when he discovered his mate had gone into labor four months early. It was clear by her level of pain and the sudden inability to regenerate, something had gone horribly awry. He knew not what ailment or affliction which could have caused this, and in an act of desperation fled to beg the assistance of two familiar acolytes which he had previously worked with.By the time the men had arrived, she had delivered prematurely an infant whose flesh was a pale blue and lips mauve. The child laid on the brink of death, seemingly on a shared hourglass of time as her mother. The men offered him an option, both mother and child could be returned to him and his payment would be no more simple than pledging his offspring to their training and cause when it became of age. There was a moment of reluctance, but ultimately he agreed.It is often ill-advised to participate in deal-making with a Witch Doctor, especially in moment’s of desperation. Alas, what empire has not fallen to moments of desperation…Pain. Torturous pain flooded the body of the infant, a sensation that could only be compared to a sudden electrical surge burning throughout every vein and vessel in her lethargic body, forcing into her limp frame. An excruciating awakening to life that served its purpose, for her eyes shot open and the silent gasps for breath now transcended into a symphony of cries. Her sapphire hued eyes which searched the blurred faces that surrounded her, began to transcend from their innocent blue to an eerie luminescent gold. An eye color shared amongst the mummies raised by the Farraki.A foul mixture of necromancy and voodoo remained funneled into the child, until a grotesque squelch was heard, a death rattle. A final breath was lifted from her mother and with it, the pain lifted from the newborn. An erupt sound of men arguing filled the air for moments, before the child fell into unconsciousness.The men soon scooped up the corpse and hauled her away. In the coming weeks, she was returned to Amopnu; mummified, risen, animated. She held no memory of her previous life, neither him nor their child. A husk that could speak and retain thought only as long as a sentence could carry it. His child, an abomination birthed of life and death, forever scarred by the magic which saved her. His deal was fulfilled and honored with the technicalities of a serpent.Mournful, he could not bear to keep the animated corpse of his mate in his hut and thus isolated her in an abandoned hut on the cliff side where she would spend day and night crushing beetles for ink. Amopnu wasn’t a cruel man, yet, his daughter invoked feelings of resentment he couldn’t quite contend with. Not only was she not the son he had prayed for, she now held deformities both magical and physical. - Worse than any ailment or deformity, was the fact she had her mother’s visage.Nafisa, a name symbolizing beauty he bestowed upon her in honor of her mother. He showed her kindness and love as much as he was capable, but often sent her into isolation to crush bugs alongside her mother. He decided to never reveal who the mummy was beside her and secretly hoped Nafisa’s presence would invoke memories in his late mate.Nafisa aged like any other child, over time the magical effects of her saving would fade, but not fully disappear. She was often made fun of as the ‘mummy’, accused of being undead and a drudge. She had found herself company amongst the risen and creatures of the sand. She developed a fascination for beetles, scorpids, spiders, and snakes, often naming them and treating them as toys or companions.It was during this era of life, she had first heard the tale of Theka the Martyr, the savior of Zul’Farrak. She had heard the legends of his scarabs and his roaming spirit. She decided to dedicate herself to caring for the scarabs located in the city and giving offerings to Theka, as if he were a loa. She soon neglected her prayer to Mueh’zala and replaced it with Theka, who she deemed the Loa of Scarabs.Theka the Martyr indeed had never left Zul’Farrak and perhaps noticed the sudden worship and care from a child. It is uncertain if he spoke to her through whispers amongst the sands or if she imagined it. This lone spirit would become the focus of a child for the remainder of her childhood and his ‘cursed’ scarabs, her companions, pets, and friends in which she cared for.

I. I currently accept payment through PayPal! You may commission me through any country, and they will convert it to USD for a small fee. On request, I can utilize Venmo or Cashapp.II. When your commission is next on my queue, you'll be requested to make an initial payment. You may either pay your profile in full or pay half when I begin, and half when I complete your commission. Your profile will not be released until payment is made in full.III. TRP3 is an addon which uses specific interface coding found in blizzard files, meaning imagery is limited. I try to make profiles as unique as possible, but some profiles may overlap regarding images, themes, and colorization.IV. You do not have my permission to share or resell templates purchased from me. This may be commissions for a video game, but I am a real freelance writer and website designer; do not steal/profit from my creative work please. You may find free resources here!V. If you are not satisfied with my work, you may request a refund. If I've already begun your commission, you will only receive half of your commission's total price as a refund. If your commission is almost completed, you will not be eligible for a refund.VI. Many profile options come with a specific amount of revisions. You may add as many revisions as you feel are needed to your commission. Revisions are defined by singular sections that you've previously approved, but now desire to change. These sections include: individual first glances, characteristics, personality, appearance, hooks, history, or other about profile sections.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

"What is your process?" I will begin by asking you several questions about your character, themes, and inspirations. Once I have a decent idea of what may fit your character, I will work on your profile in four phases. Once I complete each phase I will ask for your approval before I moved onto the next phase. - Your profile may take longer to complete depending on your response times for approvals."How do I receive my profile?" Your profile will be exported into a notepad document to prevent altering coding and the profile structure. You will then copy the coding and import it into your TRP3! If you need assistance, you will be linked a tutorial video. Should your addon ever wipe, this coding will be found in our pinned messages of discord."Why these prices?" My prices are based on time I expect to spend on a commission. As an active freelance worker, my commissions here are cheaper than my professional commissions, despite them requiring the same or more amount of time. I try to acclimate my prices to match the average price of an art piece! Unfortunately, my prices cannot be lowered less than they are as commissions often take up to several days to complete at a desired quality.

I offer services in designing, creating, formatting, and coding carrd websites.Prices for these commissions vary drastically depending on the details and desires of the client. This is considered website design and thus prices are in line with my professional freelance prices.If you are interested please contact me directly for an initial consultation to discuss your project.
